Real Wedding Shenanigans: Laura & Patrick

Celebrating their love story, the bride and groom wed, in a beautiful setting outdoors overlooking the ocean. Following the exchange of vows, Patrick kissed his bride, and down the aisle, they went as husband and wife. Bubble vases and vintage ottomans and sofas decorated the cocktail area, creating an enchanting atmosphere at the Terranea Resort. A magical day it was, we wish all of the best to Laura and Patrick! So Smitten provided partial planning, design and day-of coordination.

Real Wedding Shenanigans: Ali & Byron

Waking up in Malibu, bride Ali and her soon-to-be husband Byron, each eagerly awaited the moment the two of them would see each other for the first time. Together, they planned a whimsical wedding that enhanced all of the natural elements outside. To do this, they comprised a neutral-toned color palette with accents of sage that highlighted each decor piece. From the decor to fine dining, this wedding was a hit! Family and friends could not have been happier for the married couple, and neither could we. Congratulations Ali and Byron! So Smitten provided full service planning, design and day-of coordination.

Daphane and Jonathan found a hidden gem in Palos Verdes where they said: "I Do". Combining the indoors and outdoors, this glass chapel created an ethereal feeling and was the perfect location for the couples wedding day. Real Wedding Shenanigans: Adrian & Amber

Adrian and Amber chose to celebrate their love the best way they knew how. The couple wanted to have their wedding be as reflective of them as it could. While the SmogShoppe provided a unique and earthly venue, Adrian and Amber chose to add elements that would match this esthetic while also showing off their personal style.

For the ceremony, the bride and groom used a mix of bench and couch seating. Including tasteful decor options, the couple used a four-tone color palette which was comprised of blacks, deep purple, grey, and succulent green. White pumpkins, and floral centerpieces that were made up of these colors created the most beautiful decorative adornments. When it came time for the dinner, guests could tell that the bride and groom truly knew what would taste best. Two stations with the yummiest foods included: tacos, chips, rice and beans, while the other featured Huntington sliders, mac and cheese, and french fries. Adrian and Amber’s dream day was heartfelt, filled with laughter and tons of amazing food!

Real Wedding Shenanigans: Nicole & Tom

Nicole and Tom celebrated their wedding day at the Garland, a stunning venue in Hollywood. The two chose to add onto the venues natural beauty and fill the center of the tables from the reception with floral arrangements and votives. One of our favorite details from this day were the disposable cameras placed on each table, inviting guests to document their fun while saving those memories for the bride and groom. The happiness between these two radiated throughout the day and we wish them all the best!

Real Wedding Shenanigans: Pip & Andrew

Pip and Andrew planned their dreamy wedding day at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. A private ceremony on the San Fernando Courtyard combined natural and rustic themes. Dark wooden chairs and fresh petals along the aisle way, added gorgeous color to the freshly manicured lawns. After the two said "I Do", close ones to the bride and groom gathered around for some lawn games and light appetizers. As the time came for dinner, guests made their way to the main courtyard. Combined with vibrant blooms and gold details, this mix and match array of outdoor furniture was beautifully accented. Real Wedding Shenanigans: Amanda & Daniel

Amanda and Daniel's wedding at the Ebell Long Beach was filled with romance, tradition, and rituals. The beautifully tiled courtyard uniquely accented this ceremony. Vows under the chuppah symbolized the new home the couple was building together. Following the vows, the groom outlined his promises to his wife through the signing of the Ketubah, a historic tradition. After the courtyard ceremony, guests gathered in the Parlour for drinks and appetizers catered by Tres LA. The King's table, set with linen runners in Iridescent Crush Champagne and Shantung Ivory linen napkins, was beautifully lined for the bridal party, ready to enjoy the delicious cuisine. A gift to all as they departed, guests enjoyed Macaron party favors at the end of Amanda and Daniel's breathtaking day!
