REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: SARAH & VARUN

Sarah and Varun had a fun, funky anniversary party at Valentine DTLA. They were wed in a small ceremony without all of their loved ones, and wanted to have the big reception and celebrate their love with all their friends and families. The party included a caricature artist, and a balloon artist, and had the most fitting eclectic design to accentuate the vibe of the venue. The entire event was such a joy to plan and attend, and we were so glad to be a part of it. Cheers to Sarah and Varun!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: GABY & LEWIS

Gaby and Lewis tied the knot at the beautiful, historic King Gillette Ranch on a beautiful day in May. They were like many couples who had to postpone their wedding due to Covid, but that did not stop them from having their dream day. They said “I do” under a beautiful large Oak tree, and had dinner and dancing in the historic ranch house. The day was beautiful, and absolutely worth the wait. Congratulations Gaby and Lewis!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: ERIKA & JASON

After Erika and Jason had to postpone their wedding due to Covid, they were more than ready to have the celebration of their dreams at The Fig House. They had a butterfly inspired garden wedding with personal touches throughout. Blues, pinks, reds, purples, and yellows were all visible in the floral design to help bring the garden theme to life. With a hanging floral instillation, and lush centerpieces with butterflies peaking out, it made you feel like you walked right into a Disney Princesses garden party. The evening was finished off with delicious ice cream push pops, and a Chinese Lion Dance performance to celebrate the brides cultural background. Congratulations Erika and Jason!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: MARY & DAVID

Mary and David had a mid century modern, Palm Springs wedding at The Fig House. Complete with a hanging floral arch instillation, twinkle light canopy, and double sided seating chart instillation, this wedding was all about fun and whimsy when it came to the design. The mint and light pink color palette was accentuated with pops of white and cinnamon, which tied in the colors from the venue's artwork perfectly. We absolutely loved working on this design with Mary and David, and we were so happy with the final outcome. Congratulations to the happy couple!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: WENDY & MIKE

Wendy and Mike said “I do” at The Fig House in Highland Park. The venues eclectic design, and bright colors matched the couples vision for their wedding perfectly, and they loved that they only had to bring in some personal touches to accentuate the aesthetic. We added touches of black to bring in a bit of modernness to the design, and kept the tablescape more neutral to let the colors of the venue pop. Wendy and Mike danced the night away with their friends and family, and soaked up every minute of their special day. Cheers to Wendy and Mike!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: KRISTIN & JARET

Kristin & Jaret had an intimate 70 person wedding at an AirBnb in LA. The venue was surrounded with lush gardens, and the florist did an amazing job of accentuating the already existing beauty with some additional full, fluffy arrangements. Sage green, pale yellow, and pops of purple helped bring out more color into the surrounding gardens. The tables were adorned with real fruit, lots of candles, and table numbers named after different countries the couple had visited together. We absolutely loved being a part of this beautiful backyard garden wedding.

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: TRICIA & PAUL

Tricia and Paul had a whirlwind planning experience. From being a COVID couple and postponing their wedding twice, to also having to switch venues three different times, getting to finally celebrate their love was such a special experience for all involved. They were married in an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family during COVID, and had their bigger celebration at the beautiful Lodge at Malibou Lake. They had their ceremony and dinner outside on the lawn with views of the lake across the street, and moved inside to dance the night away. Their design style was eclectic, cozy, and they wanted you to feel like you were a guest at a backyard shindig. Muted blues and greens with pops of peach helped bring this relaxed feel to life and was seen throughout the florals, as well as in all of the signage details. Their wedding included a beautiful Jewish ceremony, a few heartfelt speeches, and ended with a silent disco dance party. Cheers to you Tricia and Paul!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: CAT & JON

From food trucks, cappuccino carts, magicians, and a tarot card reader, Cat and Jon had anything but your average wedding. Why not get married at your favorite brewery (especially when they put your faces on a beer can), and have the most epic party with all your closest friends and family! In-N-Out, Speak Cheesy, and Dan’s Dirty dogs were all available at this wedding, and guests had a blast trying all of the different food options. Pops of bright colors, a twinkle light canopy, and rattan chandeliers helped elevate the design and pull all of the elements together to create the wedding of their dreams. Congratulations you two - we were so happy to be a part of this special day!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: KRISTEN & CHRIS

Kristen and Chris had a European garden wedding tucked away in the hills of Malibu, CA this past April. Their floral heavy motif was accentuated with full aisle arrangements, as well as a floral nest surrounding the couple during their ceremony. A muted color palette with yellows, soft pinks, and amber were accented with touches of black that helped bring a hint of modern to the design. This wedding was one for the books, and we were so glad to help bring their vision to life!

These two fell in love with one of our favorite venues to work with, Bel Air Bay Club while visiting from New York City. They decided that this was the perfect place to say “I do”. Our team worked with Ally and Bobby to help make their effortlessly beautiful vision come to life. They read their vows on the lawn overlooking the grand Pacific Ocean, creating memories that will last a life time.

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: ZACK & LORI

Lori and Zack reached out to us all the way from New York. They had seen a few wedding designs that we had done and instantly knew that we would be a great fit. Small and intimate with tropical Goth twist, these two created such a unique style that just created the perfect aesthetic for their special day;. Lori wore black, the groom wore white, and they walked down to Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: SARAH & BJ

This beautiful couple tied the knot at one of our favorite venues here in Los Angeles: The Ebell. They drew inspiration from what makes this city unique to others. This venue captured it all, from old Hollywood glam to vintage LA, it really brought their vision to life. They set on this venue to reflect their passion for their jobs working in the entertainment industry. This design reflected beautifully on this classic and dark space. The cheerful jewel tones really stood out with the dark wood surrounding them. We wish this couple the best, congrats to Sarah and Bj!

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: ROMINA & MARIO

Local to the mountains of the beautiful state of Colorado, Romina and Mario decided to tie the knot here in our home state of California. The two, like many others, had to postpone their magical day not once, but twice. It was not until this year, they were finally able to gather their friends and family and celebrate their love for one another. With the gorgeous venue that Hummingbird Nest Ranch is, the two worked with our design team to come up with this gorgeous color scheme and decor. This special day consisted of laughter, tears and best of all love.

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: SHARLENE & ANDREW

Sharlene and Andrew tied the knot on a beautiful spring day, earlier this year. They held their ceremony in a gorgeous estate, her childhood home. They said “ I do” in the same place she would spend fantasizing about her big day. They worked with our design team to help create this beautiful and bold color palette and theme. With color tones like, black, green, and gold, our design team helped create this dark and magical forest atmosphere. They were not afraid of using these colors and textures, one of our favorite designs to have worked on!

Emily and Tony had a very special wedding on a very special day: New Years Eve! Some of our favorite weddings to coordinate are ones where there are multiple things to celebrate. They invited all their family and friends to join them on this unforgettable night. With tropical flowers surrounding their ceremony and reception, this design really popped with it’s bold choices. The two celebrated and danced the night away, on a New Year’s Eve that them and their guests would never forget. Wishing this couple a lifetime of happiness.

REAL WEDDING SHENANIGANS: RACHEL & BEN

Rachel and Ben had a stunning fall anniversary party at The Calamigos Ranch Oak Room in Malibu, CA. Due to Covid they had to postpone their original wedding plans, and pivoted to a small 50 person all outdoor ceremony and dinner party in the Bay Area. The following year they were able to celebrate with all of their friends and family. Stunning yellows, oranges and taupes were the main colors in the palette, and different leaves and dried flowers were used to bring a crisp fall feel to the design. Congratulations Rachel and Ben!

Alex and Kyle had a breathtaking, classic yet modern weddings at Cielo Farms in Malibu, CA. The neutral color palette of whites, ivories, and taupes was found in all the details from the signage, tablescape design, and florals. Babies breath and pampas helped add dramatic flare, while still edging on the classic side. Every element of the design was thought-out, and created such a relaxing overall feel for the day. Congratulations Alex and Kyle!
